Living in Hallendale Beach

December 9th, 2009 · No Comments · Home

It has been 3 months since I was assigned here in the City of Hallendale Beach Florida. Initially, I thought that I will never appreciate this kind of place. I am not a beach lover. I prefer mountain tops. As days go by, I develop my appreciation to the place where I will be staying for the next 10 months for the following reasons stated

1. The LGU maintains an open communication lines with its with the people as they keep them updated through good information dissemination of activities and services accessible within the City. Twice a year, a newsletter is published containing the major events, annunciations and updates on functions (i.e., education, judicial services, garbage collection, housing, etc). The citizens are likewise committed in numerous community happenings as they are encouraged to join forums, citizens committees and various volunteer opportunities.

2. Services available cater to the needs of both young and old, outgoing or otherwise—for those young at heart, there is a Senior Activity Center with available transportation services for citizens 60 years and older to enhance their social environment, wellness, and independence. It also offers enhanced fitness program , bingo, and ballroom sessions.

For single woman like me who wants to stay fit, I am thankful there is a range of choices of fitness centers accessible in Hallendale. Personally, I like their services, such as Hallendale Beach Spinning Classes offered by Premier Health and Fitness. It provides group exercises which include yoga, aerobic and spinning classes. For the best Hallendale Beach personal training program, you may try Hallendale Beach Aerobic Classes. Your workout program changes as you progresses with the training.

Living in Hallendale is not as bad as I imagined. It feels like I’m home.
